From Early childhood Madhuri Dixit had keen interest in dancing and she has been trained for Kathak Dance for over 8 years and later she became a professional Kathak dancer .
She had aim to become a microbiologist and had studied micro biology as one of her subjects in BSc .
Dixit was rumored to have dated Sanjay Dutt during the shooting of her hit film Saajan but her relationship with Dutt ended after he was arrested under TADA in 1993.
Philanthropic Activities :-
Apart from her acting career Madhuri Dixit has been actively involved in various charitable works. She has worked with UNICEF to advocate the rights of children and to prevent child labour. Government of India had made him brand ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign .
She has also supported various PETA campaigns in India. In 2001 she donated her winnings of Rs 50 lacs in “Kaun Banega Crorepati ” show to the victims of 2001 Gujarat earthquake and to an orphanage in Pune
