State Bank of India provides its customers with mini statement service which helps in keeping a record of all the transactions carried out through various modes such as NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, UPI, etc. or withdrawal through ATM/withdrawal forms. Some transactions do not have any charge whereas some have charges like RTGS transactions. It is advisable for every customer to have a regular check on their account balance and banking activities so that they can manage their finance properly. There are many ways to an SBI mini statement like internet banking, SBI mobile banking, WhatsApp banking, SBI quick mobile banking, missed call Banking using the SBI mini statement number, SMS Banking, etc. This article will provide step by step process of each method in detail and discuss SBI RTGS charges.

SBI mini statement through Internet banking

  • Visit the official SBI Internet banking website and log in using your credentials which are your user ID and password. 
  • After logging in, you may be directed to the account details. If you are not directed automatically, look for an option like “Account Summary”.
  • Select the account of which you wish to get the mini statement. After selecting, you will see an option to view the mini statement or recent transactions.
  •  Select the time period for which you want to view the mini statement. Common options include last 5 transactions, last 10 transactions, or specifying a custom date range.
  • Depending on the security measures of your internet banking, you might need to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number or use other authentication methods to proceed.
  • After successful authentication, the mini statement containing the recent transactions for the selected account and time period should be displayed on the screen.
  • You will be given the option to save it as PDF file. If you want a physical copy, you can also print it.

SBI mini statement through missed call service

This is one of the easiest way to get a mini statement. 

  •  For this service, your mobile number should be registered with your SBI account. If you have not registered yet, you can register the number you intend to use in simple steps. 
  • From your registered mobile number, dial the SBI mini statement number 09223866666.
  • Allow the call to disconnect automatically after a few rings and you will receive an SMS with the mini statement details shortly afterward from SBI containing the mini statement. This SMS will typically include information about the last 5 transactions on your account, such as date, description, and amount.

SBI mini statement through SMS banking

For this service too, you need to register your mobile number with the bank. You can register either online or offline. Write ‘MSTMT’ and sent it to SBI mini statement number for SMS 09223866666. The bank will send you the detail of last five transactions to your registered mobile number. 

How to register your number for missed call and sms banking service?

You can register your mobile number in many ways.

SMS: To register by SMS, you should write, ‘REG<space>account number ‘ and send to 09223488888. 

Visiting a branch: You can also register by visiting a branch. Ask the staff for a mobile number registration form. Fill the form and provide the necessary details along with your mobile number. Submit the duly filled form and your mobile number will be registered. 

Internet banking: Log in to your SBI Internet banking account using your username and password. Go to the “Profile” section or look for options related to “Mobile Number Registration” or “Update Contact Details.” Enter the mobile number you want to register and submit it. You will receive an OTP on your existing registered mobile number. Enter this OTP to verify and complete the registration process for the new mobile number.

SBI mini statement through Mobile Banking

Follow these steps to get an SBI mini statement through Mobile Banking

  1. You need to download the mobile banking app for SBI, ‘SBI YONO’ from the app store. 
  2. After installing, log in to your account using your user ID and password.
  3. Go to the option, ‘My Account’ that is shown on the screen.
  4. Next, you will see an option, “mini statement”. Select that option and you will see the mini statement containing the last 10 transactions.

SBI mini statement through WhatsApp 

For this option, add the SBI WhatsApp Banking number +919022690226 in their contacts. Then, send ‘Hi’ to the number. Send 2 and you will get the SBI mini statement. Note that the message should be sent from the mobile number you registered with the bank.

SBI mini statement through ATM

  • Go to a nearby State Bank of India ATM.
  • Insert your SBI Debit Card into the card slot of the ATM and you will be ask to enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number) using the keypad. Keep this PIN confidential. Do not disclose it to anyone. 
  • After that the ATM will display various options on the screen. Out of the options, select the one which says “Mini Statement”. Some ATMs may prompt something similar to this. It is usually listed under “Other Services” or “Balance Inquiry” in the main menu.
  • If you have multiple accounts linked to your SBI Debit Card, the ATM may prompt you to choose the account for which you want the mini statement. Select the appropriate account.
  • After selecting the account, the ATM will process your request and display the mini statement on the screen. The mini statement typically contains details of the last few transactions on your accounts, such as the date, description, and amount.
  • You may get two options here: to get a printout of your mini statement or to get it sent to your registered mobile number. You can choose any of the two options according to your convenience. 

SBI RTGS charges

RTGS is one of the transaction services provided by the bank and its full form is Real Time Gross Settlement. As the name itself says, it is a real-time transaction which means the fund you transfer will be reflected to the recipient’s account instantly. As per RBI guidelines, the minimum amount for RTGS fund transfer is 2 Lakh and there is no maximum limit. There are certain charges for different amounts. 

Rs. 2 lakh – Rs. 5 lakh: Rs.20 + GST

  1. 5 lakh and above: Rs. 40 + GST

For RTGS fund transfers initiated through Internet banking and mobile banking app, there are no charges. 

If you want to transfer less than 2 lakh, you can go for an NEFT fund transfer or if you want an instant fund transfer without charges for lesser amounts, you can use UPI services.
